Kalamain provided a simple turnkey solution to their customer for this project by controlling all the design, commercial and execution services, therefore providing the client with one point of contact responsible for delivering to the required standard.

The Block is a commercial development with a mixed-use purpose for both retail and distribution which consisted of seven individual units however with the ability to consolidate and interlink the units with adjoining doors and access.

The Block has modern commercial offices upstairs with an open shop front under the offices with good open high-volume storage at the back.

The Block used a composite deck system whereby Concrete and Steel beams supported the office deck to allow for uninterrupted space below for showroom feel. The in-situ shutter formwork created the industrial look and feel to the building the client was aiming for.
